EXECUTIVE ORDER: MANDATORY 25% WATER REDUCTION

On April 1, 2015, Governor Brown issued an executive order regarding the state’s current drought.  The governor’s executive order can be found online. Executive Order B-29-15 has many facets to it, including restrictions that are meant to obtain a 25% statewide reduction in potable, or drinking, water use due to the state’s fourth year of drought.

2015 Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) Available
Last year, City of Corona tap water again met all United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and State drinking water health standards. This CCR is a snapshot of the water quality in 2014. Potential Scam - Water Quality Alert
A group not affiliated with the City is providing a notice regarding the City’s water quality to residents in the City of Corona. Lincoln Park Parking Lot Improvements
The City of Corona Maintenance Services Department would like to announce parking lot improvement,s scheduled to take place at Lincoln Park, which will include the addition of 9 new parking spaces as well as a trash enclosure.

Construction is expected to begin in the next two weeks, and will be completed by June 30th. Construction will only occur Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. During construction, the existing parking lot on Citron Street will be closed, as well as the sidewalk. However, alternate pedestrian routes will be provided for safety.

Public Hearing Notice
The City of Corona is holding a Public Hearing to consider adopting changes in the current rates for its solid waste service fees and to authorize automatic inflation related pass-through adjustments for a period of five years pursuant to Government Code Section 53756.
